Founded as Hermanus Trading and Electrical by Peter Vermaak in 2012. After decade long careers in commercial diving offshore, Duncan and Shaun joined Peter in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Serving their appreticeships under Peter’s extensive guidance and mentoring, the business quickly grew. Solar and inverter installations became a substantial part of the business from 2021 onwards. The beginning of 2023 marked Peter’s semi-retirement from the operational side of the business leaving Duncan and Shaun to take the reigns.
Peter remains the responsible person for the business with an IE wiremans licence. Duncan has achieved his single phase tester wiremans licence and is studying towards his IE licence. Shaun is studying towards his N3 qualification.
