Stanford Valley Country Lodge

We have been involved with Stanford Valley Country Lodge for number of years, taking care of all the electrical infrastructure including step-up and step-down transformers, commercial kitchen and laundry facilities and accommodations. We were thus perfectly positioned to design their backup solar and inverter system. After extensive monitoring, we settled on providing a single 100kW Growcol HV inverter, 200kWh Freedom Won battery and 68kWp of ground mounted solar panels. The project entailed a large amount of earth works to provide platforms for the solar frames that would not visually intrude on the spectacular views available to the guests. An existing 80kVA generator was integrated into the system. Currently the system takes care of approximately 40-50% of the year round consumption with the possibility to expand the system in the future.
